August 14, 1947 a country came into existence, named Pakistan. The people of this region took freedom from the British Rule. In order to learn more about the history of Pakistan we have to look back to the British ruling history on the world, where sun never downed. All the continents were under the rule of British Empire. This was the British Empire’s Standard Strategy to Divide and Rule. Under this policy the representatives of British Empire who were identified as Viceroy (this specific person was an official who reigns over a polity in the Name of Monarch of the Territory), would manage and modify the policies as needed to maintain the control.

One of the specific strategy was to hire local landlords (who were already war lords and fighting against the powerful local landlords) as their touts against those landlords or small territorial leaders who were against the British Rule and they didn’t want the British presence in the region or country. The other important thing British Viceroy ensured to provide military tactical training to the people of the local landlords.

Part of the training included light Infantry, light cavalry, and light artillery training. These small numbered armies with light weaponry, the local landlords got stronger and used these British trained armies against their rivals. A very effective way to gain control from small territories to entire village, province and finally the whole country. Those little light infantry, cavalry, and artillery soldiers gained experience under the training of the British trainers and become professionals.

If look at the time British Empire’s presence in the subcontinent of Indo-Pak, is more or less two centuries. Initially, British send their business traders who later became East India company in 1757 to 1858, which is 101 years and in 1858 British Boots landed on the Indian soils. By the time when British departed from India in 1947, they had their roots so strong in the Indian soils and had well trained and experienced military developed from the locals and British Officers.

British Viceroys ensured that not only their trained militaries but also their trained civil offices also known as the district management officers. Who were initially the British Military Officers and later after providing many civilians; the civil management training to the locals residents by offering them the scholarship in the British Civil Management Schools for special district management training and the scholarship for the local landlords children’ in the best British Universities.

When the British departed the Indian soils, they left behind well prepared military and civilian leadership who just followed their footsteps. Another thing the British felt the significance about the territories upon departing, offer them the Common Wealth status to maintain control in the form of locally trained military and trained civilians. The British also ensured that per the divide and rule policy, only provide training, knowledge and education to the specific groups of people who helped them throughout their presence in the region. After more of less two centuries now they had the initial landlords then their children and followed by their generations after generations.

Pakistan took freedom from British Rule in August of 1947 and that is about 76 years ago but if we look at the history of Pakistan, mostly Military Generals ruled the country or their puppet civilian politicians. Just to show the world Pakistan Military, helped the civilian elected politicians to develop an constitution to run and operate the country, which is just a joke. Because whenever Pakistani Military wants, they suspend the constitution and operate under the military rule.

By this malpractice, Pakistan never prosper as democratic state. At present situation in Pakistan is worse since, the Pakistan Military toppled the elected government of Imran Khan last year in April of 2022. The civilian leadership was handed to an incompetent corrupt most person Shehbaz Sharif, who put the country on the default edge. Just by impowering Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan Military is employing the dirty tactics against Imran Khan and his supporters and the citizens of Pakistan. Inflation in Pakistan is reaching the heights and employment opportunities are getting squeezed.

Citizens of Pakistan are suffering from inflation, were the basic needs are so expensive that unprivileged citizens of Pakistan are committing seaside. Some who are slightly wealthy, they are migrating out of Pakistan. At the moment the foreign embassies are rushed by those who can afford to migrate. Foreign embassies are packed with visa requests and the interview process is expanded to minimum three months. At this time where Pakistani citizens are crushed by the inflation and where there is no rule of law, the citizens are not feeling safe, the international community must consider the easy migration of Pakistani Citizens.

The International community and the overseas Pakistanis are not comfortable because of this unstable situation about their siblings who are residing in Pakistan. The Immigration rules in the United States of America are not easy enough for the naturalized US Citizens to help their remaining family members who still live in Pakistan. When spoke to many naturalized Pakistani Immigrants, we came to know the day by day living in Pakistan is not very safe. This is all because of the current civil government is useless to maintain law and safety of the citizens of Pakistan. Pakistan Army keeps eye on every media person and when they notice if any generalist raising voice against the current political situation, the Pakistani Army kidnap the person.

The latest news about a well known Pakistani generalist Mr. Imran Riaz Khan who was taken by the authorities on May 9, 2023 on the Sialkot airport when he was departing for Middle East for his safety. Until today there is no idea who have taken him. The Pakistani civilian court has summoned numerous times, the provincial police general and authorities of Punjab Government to present Mr. Imran Riaz Khan in the court and authorities are totally ignoring the court orders. This is an excellent example of the law and order situation where the Pakistani Military supported government has no respect for the law, judge and the justice.
